The use of catechins or gallic esters of catechins or aqueous or organic extracts from plants or parts of plants which have a content of catechins or gallic esters of catechins, for example the leaves of the plant family Theaceae, in particular of the species Camellia sinensis (green tea) or a typical ingredient thereof (such as, e.g. polyphenols or catechins, caffeine, vitamins, sugars, minerals, amino acids, lipids), for intensifying natural skin tanning or for stimulating melanogenesis in human skin.

Η χρήση catechins ή των γαλλικών εστέρων catechins ή υδάτινα ή οργανικά αποσπάσματα από τα φυτά ή μέρη των εγκαταστάσεων που έχουν ένα περιεχόμενο catechins ή των γαλλικών εστέρων catechins, παραδείγματος χάριν τα φύλλα της οικογένειας Theaceae φυτών, ειδικότερα του sinensis καμελιών ειδών (πράσινο τσάι) ή ενός χαρακτηριστικού συστατικού επ' αυτού (όπως, π.χ. polyphenols ή catechins, καφεϊ'νη, βιταμίνες, σάκχαρα, ανόργανα άλατα, αμινοξέα, λιπίδια), για την ενίσχυση του φυσικού μαυρίσματος δερμάτων ή για το melanogenesis υποκίνησης στο ανθρώπινο δέρμα.
