A process for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet wherein during the decarburization annealing step, the steel sheet is first rapidly heated in a rapid heating chamber and the PH.sub.2 O/PH.sub.2 ratio in the rapid heating chamber is more than the PH.sub.2 O/PH.sub.2 ratio in the decarburization annealing furnace so as to provide improved oxide film adhesion.

Een proces om een grain-oriented elektrostaalplaat uit te vaardigen waarin tijdens de decarburization onthardende stap, de staalplaat eerst snel in een snelle het verwarmen kamer en de verhouding PH.sub.2 O/PH.sub.2 in de snelle het verwarmen kamer wordt verwarmd moet meer dan de verhouding PH.sub.2 O/PH.sub.2 in de decarburization onthardingsoven om de betere adhesie van de oxydefilm verstrekken.
