A method and system for checking continuity of a motor 104, motor drive,
motor relay 110, dc relay 108 and interconnections 122a-c thereof for a
power steering system 204. The method and system of the invention produce
minimal torque on a motor shaft 426 of the power steering system 204. The
position of the motor shaft 426 is located using a Hall effect current
sensor 114, a resolver and the like, depending on the type of motor.
Thereafter, it is determined which switches 106a-f of an inverter
circuitry 100 to switch to produce a minimal torque on the motor shaft
426. The inverter circuit 100 converts dc voltage from a power source 102
to ac voltage required by the motor 104. Thereafter, the switches 106a-f
that produce the minimal torque on the motor shaft 426 are switched and
current flow is checked to determine the continuity of the circuitry. To
produce minimal torque on the motor shaft 426, the complementary pair of
switches 106a-f to the first pair is then switched.
Eine Methode und ein System für die Überprüfung des Durchganges eines Motors 104, des Bewegungs-Antriebs, des Bewegungsrelais 110, des DC Relais 108 und der Verbindungen 122a-c davon auf ein Energie Lenksystem 204. Die Methode und das System der Erfindung produzieren minimale Drehkraft auf einer Bewegungswelle 426 des Energie Lenksystems 204. Die Position der Bewegungswelle 426 wird mit einem gegenwärtigen Sensor 114, ein Lösungsmittel und dergleichen des Halleffekts, abhängig von der Art des Motors lokalisiert. Danach wird es festgestellt, das 106a-f eines Inverterschaltkreises 100 zum Schalter zum Erzeugnis eine minimale Drehkraft auf der Bewegungswelle 426 schaltet. Die Bekehrt-DC Spannung des Inverterstromkreises 100 von einer Energiequelle 102 zur AC Spannung erfordert durch den Motor 104. Danach wird die Schalter 106a-f, die die minimale Drehkraft auf der Bewegungswelle 426 werden geschaltet produzieren und der gegenwärtige Fluß überprüft, um den Durchgang des Schaltkreises festzustellen. Um minimale Drehkraft auf der Bewegungswelle 426, wird das ergänzende Paar der Schalter 106a-f zum ersten Paar zu produzieren dann geschaltet.
