According to the invention, the first base station additionally makes available a second broadband frequency channel with a TD/CDMA transmission method. After a connection has been set up in the first or second frequency channel, a handover of the connection to the respective other frequency channel is carried out by the base station controller without a second base station being selected.

En una red de radio móvil del G/M que tiene por lo menos un regulador de la estación baja y una primera estación baja, por lo menos un primer canal de frecuencia se hace disponible dentro de una banda de frecuencia entre la primera estación baja y las estaciones móviles para transmitir datos y transmitir la información que señala. Según la invención, la primera estación baja hace además disponible un segundo canal de frecuencia de banda ancha con un método de la transmisión de TD/CDMA. Después de que una conexión se haya instalado en el primer o segundo canal de frecuencia, un handover de la conexión al respectivo el otro canal de frecuencia es realizado por el regulador de la estación baja sin una segunda estación baja que es seleccionada.
