N-Phenylpyrazole derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents optionally halogenated alkyl; R.sup.2 represents halogen, cyano, nitro, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, thiocyanato, optionally alkyl substituted sulphamoyl, optionally alkyl substituted carbamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkanoyl or optionally halogenated alkyl; and R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a group N"R'" or a variety of other groupings. These compounds possess arthropodicidal, plant nematocidal, anthelmintic and anti-protozoal properties; their preparation, compositions containing them and their use are described.

N-Phenylpyrazole Ableitungen der Formel: ## STR1 ## worin R.sup.1 stellt beliebig halogeniertes Alkyl dar; R.sup.2 stellt Halogen, Cyano-, Nitro, cycloalkyl, Alkenyl, thiocyanato, beliebig Alkyl ersetztes sulphamoyl, beliebig Alkyl ersetztes carbamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkanoyl oder beliebig halogeniertes Alkyl dar; und R.sup.3 stellt ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Gruppe N"r '" oder eine Vielzahl anderer Gruppierungen dar. Diese Mittel besitzen die arthropodicidal, Betriebnematocidalen, anthelmintischen und Antiprotozoeneigenschaften; ihre Vorbereitung, der Aufbau, der sie enthalten und ihr Gebrauch wird beschrieben.
