The present invention relates to novel compositions, in particular to compositions comprising calcitonin or a fragment or conjugate thereof and to methods for preparing such compositions. It also relates to oral formulations comprising the compositions and to shelf stable formulations of calcitonin or a fragment or conjugate thereof.

De onderhavige uitvinding heeft op nieuwe samenstellingen, in het bijzonder aan samenstellingen bestaand uit calcitonin of een fragment of stamverwant daarvan en aan methodes om dergelijke samenstellingen betrekking voor te bereiden. Het heeft ook op mondelinge formuleringen daarvan bestaand uit de samenstellingen en op planken stabiele formuleringen betrekking van calcitonin of een fragment of een stamverwant.
