A sanitary pad including a wide portion, a narrow portion connected to the wide portion, defining two lateral notches dividing between the wide portion and the narrow portion. At least two fold lines are preformed on the narrow portion and inwardly emanate from the two lateral notches and curve downwardly away from the wide portion toward the longitudinal median of the narrow portion. In a preferable embodiment the at least two fold lines include a lower pair of fold lines preformed on the lower surface of the narrow portion and an upper pair of fold lines preformed on the upper surface of the narrow portion. The pad may also feature a traverse fold line preformed across the wide portion between the notches. In another preferable embodiment the upper part of the sides of the narrow portion overlap under the lower part of the sides of the wide portion.

Eine gesundheitliche Auflage einschließlich einen breiten Teil, ein schmaler Teil schloß an den breiten Teil an und definierte zwei seitliche Kerben, die zwischen den breiten Teil und den schmalen Teil sich teilen. Mindestens werden zwei Falte Linien auf dem schmalen Teil vorgeformt und ausströmen innerlich von den zwei seitlichen Kerben und von Kurve abwärts weg vom breiten Teil in Richtung zum Längsmittelpunkt des schmalen Teils. In einer vorzuziehenden Verkörperung schließen die mindestens zwei Falte Linien ein niedrigeres Paar Falte Linien ein, die auf der Unterseite des schmalen Teils vorgeformt werden und ein oberes Paar Falte Linien, die auf der Oberfläche des schmalen Teils vorgeformt werden. Die Auflage kann eine Querfalte Linie auch kennzeichnen, die über dem breiten Teil zwischen den Kerben vorgeformt wird. In einer anderen vorzuziehenden Verkörperung der obere Teil der Seiten der schmalen Teildeckung unter dem unteren Teil der Seiten des breiten Teils.
