The present invention relates to radiation curable compositions comprising at least one metallocene polyolefin. The radiation curable compositions are useful for a variety of applications, particularly as coatings and adhesives. The radiation curable composition may comprise a single metallocene polyolefin, or blend thereof. The ultraviolet curable compositions further comprise at least one photoinitiator and/or at least one photoinduced coupling agent. For pressure sensitive adhesive applications, the radiation curable composition also preferably comprises other ingredients such as a tackifying resins and plasticizers.

De onderhavige uitvinding heeft op stralings geneesbare samenstellingen bestaand betrekking minstens uit één metallocenepolyolefin. De stralings geneesbare samenstellingen zijn nuttig voor een verscheidenheid van toepassingen, in het bijzonder als deklagen en kleefstoffen. De stralings geneesbare samenstelling kan uit één enkele metallocenepolyolefin, of mengsel daarvan bestaan. De ultraviolette geneesbare samenstellingen bestaan verder minstens uit één photoinitiator en/of photoinduced minstens één koppelingsagent. Voor druk gevoelige zelfklevende toepassingen, bestaat de stralings geneesbare samenstelling ook bij voorkeur uit andere ingrediënten zoals tackifying harsen en plastificeermiddelen.
