A graft copolymer is disclosed. The copolymer is prepared by the interpolymerization of a mixture of monomers comprising ethylene, a C.sub.3 to C.sub.12 alpha monoolefin, and a polyene being a member selected from the group consisting of non-conjugated dienes and trienes. Grafted to the copolymer is a 2-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole moiety. Lubricating oil additives and lubricating oils comprising the graft copolymer are also disclosed.

Um copolymer do graft é divulgado. O copolymer é preparado pelo interpolymerization de uma mistura dos monomers que compreendem o etileno, por um C.sub.3 ao monoolefin do alfa C.sub.12, e por um polyene que é um membro selecionado dos dienes e dos trienes non-conjugated consistindo do grupo. Grafted ao copolymer um moiety 2-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole. Os aditivos do óleo lubrificando e os óleos lubrificando que compreendem o copolymer do graft são divulgados também.
