A new and distinct highly ornamental variety of Syringa meyeri.times.Syringa microphylla is provided. A Lilac plant having a neat and compact growth habit is described. Highly attractive trusses of wine-colored buds are formed which open during late spring to display pink blossoms having a spicy fragrance. Good winter hardiness is made possible and the plant has been relatively free of insect and disease problems during observations to date. The plant is particularly well-suited for growing as an ornamental specimen or as a mass planting in the landscape.

On forme la botte fortement attrayante de bourgeons vin-colorés qui ouvert pendant le ressort en retard pour montrer les fleurs roses ayant un parfum épicé. La bonne robustesse d'hiver est rendue possible et l'usine a été relativement exempt d'insecte et de problèmes de la maladie pendant les observations jusqu'ici. L'usine est particulièrement bien adaptée pour accroître comme spécimen ornemental ou comme masse plantant dans le paysage.
