When a mobile station first initiates a connection, the mobile station is synchronized on the basis of an evaluation of an organization channel in the mobile radio network. The mobile station transmits, in a frequency band of a home base station and to the home base station a message that contains a mobile-station-specific first identifier. The message is received and evaluated by the home base station. If the first identifier matches a second identifier registered for the home base station, a connection is set up between the mobile station and the home base station.

Wanneer een mobiel station eerst een verbinding in werking stelt, is het mobiele station gesynchroniseerd op basis van een evaluatie van een organisatiekanaal in het mobiele radionetwerk. Het mobiele station brengt, in een frequentieband van een thuisbasispost en aan de thuisbasispost een over bericht dat een mobiel-post-specifiek eerste herkenningsteken bevat. Het bericht wordt ontvangen en door de thuisbasispost geëvalueerd. Als het eerste herkenningsteken een tweede herkenningsteken aanpast dat voor de thuisbasispost wordt geregistreerd, wordt een verbinding opgezet tussen het mobiele station en de thuisbasispost.
