The invention relates to a novel 2H-1-pyran-2-ones of general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl radical with 2-5 C atoms, a cycloakyl radical with 4-6 C atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 4-8 C atoms or an alkoxy alkyl radical with a total of 3-5 C atoms and R.sup.2 represents a 2-(3, 4-methylene dioxyphenyl) radical or a 2-phenyl ethenyl radical substituted with R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 in positions 3, 4 and 5, whereby independently from each other R.sup.3 and R.sup.5 represent methoxy or ethoxy and R.sup.4 is a straight chain or branched alkoxy radical with 1-5 C atoms, an alkenyl radical with 3-5 C atoms, a cycloalkoxy radical with 4-6 C atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 4-8 C atoms or an alkoxy alkoxy radical with a total of 3-5 C atoms. The invention also relates to a method for producing said compunds in addition to novel untermediate products and to a method for the production thereof. The novel pyranone derivatives have an anti-convulsive and/or anti-epileptic efect in addition to a neuroprotective effect or act against neurodegenerate diseases. The invention further relates to medicaments containing these compounds.

A invenção relaciona-se a uma novela 2H-1-pyran-2-ones da fórmula geral (i), ## wherein R.sup.1 representa um radical do alkyl com os 2-5 átomos de C, um radical com os 4-6 átomos de C, um radical do ## STR1 do cycloakyl do cycloalkyl com os 4-8 átomos de C ou um radical alkyl alkoxy com um total de 3-5 átomos de C e R.sup.2 representa o radical de um dioxyphenyl 2-(3, 4-methylene) ou um radical do ethenyl 2-phenyl substituiu com R.sup.3, R.sup.4 e R.sup.5 em posições 3, 4 e 5, por meio de que independentemente de se R.sup.3 e R.sup.5 representam methoxy ou o ethoxy e R.sup.4 são uma corrente reta ou um radical alkoxy ramificado com os 1-5 átomos de C, um radical alkenyl com os 3-5 átomos de C, um radical do cycloalkoxy com os 4-6 átomos de C, um radical do cycloalkyl com os 4-8 átomos de C ou um radical alkoxy alkoxy com um total de 3-5 átomos de C. A invenção relaciona-se também a um método para produzir compunds ditos além aos produtos do untermediate da novela e a um método para a produção disso. Os derivatives do pyranone da novela têm um efect anti-convulsive e/ou anti-epileptic além a um efeito ou a um ato neuroprotective de encontro às doenças do neurodegenerate. A invenção mais adicional relaciona-se aos medicaments que contêm estes compostos.
