The present invention relates to a modified polypeptide which has an
enzymatic activity level of greater than about 70% of the parent
polypeptide and an allergenic response level of less than about 33% of the
parent polypeptide. Embodiments of the present invention relate to
modified polypeptides with reduced allergenicity and high enzymatice
activity comprising the formula:
A-B.sub.n
wherein A is an enzyme, and mixtures thereof; B is a twin polymer moiety,
having a total molecular weight of from about 0.5 kilodaltons (KD) to
about 40 KD, having the formula

conjugated to the enzyme; wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are essentially
straight chain polymers, having a molecular weight ranging from about 0.25
KD to about 20 KD; wherein the ratio of the molecular weights of R.sub.1
and R.sub.2 is from about 1:10 to about 10:1; wherein X is a linking
moiety which links the twin moeity to a single site on the enzyme; and n
is the number of twin polymer moietis conjugated to the enzyme, and
represents an integer from about 1 to about 15.
La presente invenzione riguarda un polipeptide modificato che ha un livello di attività enzimatico notevolmente di circa 70% del polipeptide del genitore e un livello allergene di risposta meno di circa 33% del polipeptide del genitore. I metodi di realizzazione di presente invenzione riguardano i polipeptidi modificati con il allergenicity ridotto ed alta l'attività di enzymatice che contengono la formula: A-B.sub.n in cui A è un enzima e loro miscugli; La B è una parte gemellata del polimero, avendo un peso molecolare totale da circa 0.5 kilodaltons (KD) a circa 40 KD, avendo il ## del ## STR1 di formula coniugato all'enzima; in cui R.sub.1 e R.sub.2 sono essenzialmente polimeri della catena diritta, avendo un peso molecolare variare da circa 0.25 KD a circa 20 KD; in cui il rapporto dei pesi molecolari di R.sub.1 e di R.sub.2 proviene da circa 1:10 a circa 10:1; in cui la X è una parte di collegamento che collega il moeity gemellato ad un singolo situi sull'enzima; e la n è il numero di moietis gemellati del polimero coniugato all'enzima e rappresenta un numero intero da circa 1 a circa 15.
