The carbon dioxide gas absorbent comprises of primary particles each containing lithium zirconia serving as a matrix, and eutectic compound molecules each containing lithium carbonate and at least one element selected from the group consisting of alkali metals excluding lithium, and alkali earth metals, which are dispersed in the matrix.
