Methods of detecting inhibitors of fungal pathgenicity are disclosed. These methods are based on the discovery that pathogenicity is diminished when chitin synthase III is inhibited. The inhibitors of fungal pathogenicity are detected with mutant strains of S. cerevisiae or other mutant fungal strains, whose mutation causes diminished growth of the fungus when combined with the inhibition of chitin synthase III.

Os métodos de detectar inibidores do pathgenicity fungal são divulgados. Estes métodos são baseados na descoberta que o pathogenicity está diminuído quando o synthase III do chitin é inibido. Os inibidores do pathogenicity fungal são detectados com as tensões do mutant do S. cerevisiae ou outras tensões fungal do mutant, cujo o mutation causa o crescimento diminuído do fungo quando combinado com a inibição do synthase III do chitin.
