A method for automatically tuning object sizes in an integrated circuit includes the steps of providing a circuit having objects disposed therein, inputting equations associated with the objects to provide a relationship between a size of the object and timing information of signals transmitted between the objects, extracting transition times of the signals transmitted between objects by simulating the circuit in operation by evaluating the equations and adjusting the sizes of the objects in the circuit according to the timing information and the transition times until user defined criteria are achieved for the circuit. Systems are also provided to carry out the method.

Um método para automaticamente ajustar tamanhos do objeto em um circuito integrado inclui as etapas de fornecer um circuito que tem objetos dispostos nisso, inputting as equações associadas com os objetos para fornecer um relacionamento entre um tamanho do objeto e cronometrando a informação dos sinais transmitidos entre os objetos, extraindo tempos da transição dos sinais transmitidos entre objetos simulando o circuito na operação avaliando as equações e ajustando os tamanhos dos objetos no circuito de acordo com a informação do sincronismo e os tempos da transição até que os critérios definidos usuário estejam conseguidos para o circuito. Os sistemas são fornecidos também para realizar o método.
