Disclosed are A N-[(fluoroalkoxy)phenoxyalkyl]benzamide compound represented by the formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 may be the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group, a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy group, a C.sub.1-4 haloalkyl group, a C.sub.1-4 haloalkoxy group, a cyano group, a nitro group, or a hydroxy group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group, or a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy group; A represents an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom; n is an integer of 1 to 6; x is 1 to 4; y is 0 to 6; z is 2 to 9; m is 0 to 2; provided that 2x+1=y+z+m, an intermediate thereof, processes thereof and an agricultural and horticultural chemical for controlling noxious organisms containing the above-mentioned compound as an effective ingredient which is available as a nematocide, an acaricide, a fungicide, etc.

È rilevato un residuo di N-[(fluoroalkoxy)phenoxyalkyl]benzamide rappresentato dalla formula (1): ## del ## STR1 in cui R.sup.1 e R.sup.3 possono essere lo stesso o differenti e rappresentare un atomo dell'idrogeno, un atomo dell'alogeno, un gruppo alchile C.sub.1-4, un gruppo alkoxy C.sub.1-4, un gruppo di haloalkyl C.sub.1-4, un gruppo di haloalkoxy C.sub.1-4, un gruppo ciano, un gruppo nitro, o un gruppo idrossilato; R.sup.2 rappresenta un atomo dell'idrogeno, un atomo dell'alogeno, un gruppo alchile C.sub.1-4, o un gruppo alkoxy C.sub.1-4; A rappresenta un atomo di ossigeno, o un atomo dello zolfo; la n è un numero intero di 1 - 6; x è 1 - 4; y è 0 - 6; la z è 2 - 9; la m. è 0 - 2; a condizione che 2x+1=y+z+m, un intermediario di ciò, processi di ciò e un prodotto chimico agricolo ed orticolo per il controllo degli organismi nocivi che contengono il residuo suddetto come ingrediente efficace che è disponibile come un nematocida, un acaricide, un fungicida, ecc.
